Matt Gouldby is a Director in Yendall Hunter Limited’s Construction Disputes and Advisory Practice. He has 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering sectors and has worked on both live projects and disputes located in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North America.
His primary expertise lies within programme related disputes, advising clients in relation to engineering and construction projects that have failed to meet time expectations, in particular in the analysis of delay and disruption, providing advice to owners and contractors in relation to the management of construction and engineering projects.
For the past 10 years, Matt has provided advice to project owners, contractors, subcontractors, funders, consultants, and other stakeholders in relation to major capital projects in both the public and private sectors in the UK and internationally. He has experience across a broad range of project sectors including: real estate and commercial developments; highways, telecoms and IT infrastructure projects, transport (road, airports and rail), oil & gas and industrial facilities.
Prior to joining Yendall Hunter, Matt worked in the Forensic Services team at PricewaterhouseCoopers and before that, Matt spent 5 years working in various engineering and construction management roles with a major UK Contractor.
Matt has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey (MEng Hons), is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) and is professionally registered with the Engineering Council.
