Emily Simnor is a Managing Director at Yendall Hunter. Based in New Zealand, Emily has more than 19 years of experience in the construction industry, with 17 years of experience in the analysis of delay and disruption in construction disputes.

Emily has experience working across a wide range of industry sectors, including oil and gas, power, industrial, civil infrastructure and building and has provided advice to both owners and contractors on numerous major projects in the UK, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia. Emily has been appointed as an independent expert on delay matters and has presented written and oral evidence in adjudication (ICC), arbitration and DAB proceedings.

Prior to joining Yendall Hunter, Emily worked in the construction disputes teams at GBsqd, Alvarez & Marsal and Navigant Consulting. Before that, she worked in a commercial and programming capacity on a major rail project in the UK and at a law firm in Tokyo.

Emily holds bachelor’s degrees in law and philosophy from the University of Otago and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand.
