Emily Simnor is a Director at Yendall Hunter. Based in New Zealand, Emily has 17 years of experience in the construction industry, with 15 years of experience in construction-related disputes, providing independent advice to project owners, contractors and subcontractors in relation to capital projects that have failed to meet time and cost expectations.

Emily has been appointed as an independent expert and has advised clients in respect of delay and disruption matters on projects in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Australasia across a broad range of sectors including oil and gas, shipping, transport infrastructure, petrochemical and processing facilities, airports, hotels and other commercial and residential real estate.

Prior to joining Yendall Hunter, Emily spent six years in the international construction disputes practice at Alvarez and Marsal in London. Prior to that, Emily worked in the construction disputes team at Navigant Consulting in London. Emily also gained experience working on Connect, a PFI project to upgrade the radio and telecommunications systems on the London Underground and in Tokyo, working in an international legal environment.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from Otago University (NZ) and qualified in 2000.
