Vincent DeSapio is a Managing Director at Yendall Hunter with more than 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries with a focus on construction disputes. Vince has provided independent advice on construction related disputes including power plants, petrochemical facilities, desalination plants, semi-submersible drilling rigs, gas pipelines, wastewater treatment plants, high rises, rail infrastructure, shipbuilding, airports, hotels, hospitals, deep water offshore oil platforms, wind farms, sports stadium development, steel mill, and various other real estate developments. Vince has extensive international experience and has worked on projects in the Middle East, Africa, North America, Europe, UK, Asia, and Australia.
Vince has assisted both owners and contractors with ongoing construction projects as well as in after-the-fact dispute environments. Vince has been appointed as an expert on delay matters on several occasions including in international arbitrations (ICC), Expert Determination and DAB. He has provided both written and oral evidence in those disputes.
Before joining Yendall Hunter, Vince worked in the construction disputes groups of Alvarez & Marsal and at Navigant Consulting. Earlier, he was a structural engineer for Clough, Harbour and Associates, performing design work, primarily relating to heavy transportation related projects.
Vince earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a master’s degree in civil engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
He is a Professional Engineer in the state of New Jersey and a registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
