Based in the UK, Julian Ashby is a Director at Yendall Hunter and has over 20 years of Capital Projects experience. His eight years of expertise in analysing delay and disruption matters and providing advice to relevant parties is built upon a previous broad range of hands-on experience covering all aspects of the construction lifecycle, from project tendering, planning, and pre-construction stakeholder management, to on-site engineering and construction coordination, to project completion including snagging and handover activities.
A Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Civil Engineering, Julian has worked with Clients across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Australasia on projects within the industry sectors of Real Estate (both high and low-rise construction and refurbishment), Transport (including rail, road, and aerospace infrastructure and vehicle manufacturing), Defence, Waste, Oil and Gas (onshore and offshore), and Information Technology.
Prior to joining Yendall Hunter Julian spent three years in the Forensic Services team of PricewaterhouseCoopers, and nine years as a civil engineer within two major UK contractors of Balfour Beatty Construction and Bam Nuttall in both on and off-site roles. Prior to that Julian had graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First-Class bachelor’s degree in the subject of Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
