Emily Simnor is a Managing Director at Yendall Hunter. She holds bachelor’s degrees in law and philosophy and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand. Emily has 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with over 17 years of experience in construction disputes.
Before joining Yendall Hunter, Emily worked in the construction disputes teams at GBsqd, Alvarez & Marsal and Navigant Consulting. Prior to that, she worked in a planning and commercial role on a major UK rail project and in an advisory position at a Tokyo law firm.
Emily specialises in delay and disruption analysis. She has undertaken analyses on major projects around the world across a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, power, industrial, civil infrastructure and building.
Emily is regularly appointed as an independent expert on delay and disruption matters and has presented written and oral evidence in adjudication, arbitration and DAB proceedings.
