Scott Jardine, a Senior Director with Yendall Hunter, brings more than 21 years of experience in the capital project sector, including 11 years in construction and IT related disputes, serving in both advisory and expert witness related roles. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including power, rail and infrastructure, education, airports, shipbuilding, offshore construction, retail, housing, healthcare, information technology, city buildings and telecom in the U.K. and internationally.

Scott has been appointed as an independent delay expert, preparing delay and programme analyses for both public and private sector clients; including government, owners, contractors, subcontractors and consultants in both traditional engineering and IT capital projects. He has given evidence before arbitral tribunals on a number of occasions.

In addition, he has undertaken reviews of projects for clients, contractors and funders to provide guidance on key areas of project delay and programming requirements, often during project distress (including termination). He has been involved in on-going project reviews of programme and project governance on a wide variety of projects, advising on procurement and program issues on a consultancy basis, including best practice for Earned Value Analysis.

Before Yendall Hunter, Scott was a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal and prior to that he was a director in the forensic services team of PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. Previously, he worked as a civil engineer for 10 years in the construction industry for Balfour Beatty and Smithers Purslow.

Scott earned a first class bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Loughborough University. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
